i think i read somewhere that they were individual throtts. also the injectors are in the plenum area before the throtts. like these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NHEAxKGw8Y

Hi guys..
I finnaly figured out what the little actuators are next to the turbo.. The bypass valves for the Anti Lag!!

The compressed charge from the turbo is bypassed into the exhuast which is rich of ruel on over-run and creates some combustion in the exhaust to keep the turbo spinning up.. 8) NIce.

I had not seen this method of anti lag.
That shit would get very hot!! Have been tempted to turn it on in my link, but my crap turbo would probably pop in minutes

Interesting setup on the VQ30dett exhaust. Looks like the wastegate is sitting directly on the back of the turbo. What is the other regulator looking thing that is next to the turbo, with the smaller diameter seperate exhaust manifold coming off each port?

that my friends is a nissan take on audies "UMLUFT" system. aka air bypass antilag. used by them back in the s1 quattro days. and still used today in current wrc cars.

and the twin plenum design aswell. (cone primary plenum with a slit down its length blowing evenly over all the runners in the main plenum)

great site on how it all works. but.. eats turbos and manifolds. they managed to keep a kkk k29 turbo on boost the whole time from a 2.1liter motor lol
